Published May 28, 2019After four years of music-making as Camp Wavelength, Toronto's Wavelength Music has rebranded its summertime festival, and organizers have revealed the first round of acts set to play the 2019 event.
Now dubbed the Wavelength Summer Music & Arts Festival, the event is set to take place August 17 and 18 at Toronto's stackt market. The fest will feature both a weather-protected main stage inside the Belgian Moon Brewery, alongside additional programming on the grounds of the market.
Artists set to play the fest include Milk & Bone, Yonatan Gat, Cadence Weapon, Fet.Nat, Art d'Ecco, Tallies, Hua Li and Anthems of the Void. A press release notes that further music, arts and comedy programming will be announced in July.
"Space for creativity is at an all-time premium in Toronto," Wavelength Music artistic director Jonathan Bunce said in a statement. "It's our hope that by finding a home for Wavelength at stackt, we'll be able to create a new hub for emerging music and the arts in our city — for one amazing weekend, at least."
Single-day tickets and weekend passes go on sale to the public Friday (May 31). Early bird prices start at $25 for single-day tickets, and $40 for two-day weekend passes. Tickets will be available online or in person at Rotate This and Soundscapes.
A Wavelength Passport can also be had for $99.99, granting the holder admission to both summer and winter festivals, plus all shows included in the Wavelength Monthly Music Series for one year.
Further festival and ticketing details can be found through Wavelength's official website.
