Blair Lee Acknowledges the Devil on Her Shoulder on 'Lucifer'
North Bay-based indie artist Blair Lee has released an intoxicating pandemic-inspired single, and you can listen to it down below.

Out today, "Lucifer" was produced by Modmaxx (Drake, Tinashe, Roy Woods), and is Lee's first single since being signed by Muk-Posh.

Inspired by an improv jam sesh that was streamed on Instagram Live, "Lucifer" is a metaphor for the pandemic — the devil on Blair's shoulder being the daunting never-ending pandemic.

"I was having a hard time adjusting to the pandemic, and my mind was clouded with negativity — that's where the idea for 'Lucifer' came from… the feeling that there was a 'devil on my shoulder' at all times," Lee said in a statement. "At that time, almost every night, I would be nearly asleep then wake up with a racing heart, thinking the world was ending (my world anyway) about all things terrible."

Take a listen to "Lucifer" below.
